A Game About Chanukah?

This game is a 2-5 player, semi-competitive, prompt-based character building exercise concerned with multiple perspectives on the story of Chanukah. In it, you will be asked potentially intense questions from the perspectives of Maccabee, scholar, and celebrant. These can all be one character or separate characters of yours, so build what interests you. Not all questions will be asked and all characters built with this game are meant to be interestingly rough and incomplete. In its complexities and difficulties, you will have to consider the many different ways the Chanukah story can be told and considered by different Jews.

This game briefly discusses Jewish nationalism and my own being Israeli, an aspect of the Chanukah story and a fact about the author I'd be remiss to leave out. As such, I want to make it clear that neither myself, the author, or this game are in support of the ongoing military occupation of the West Bank or the siege of Gaza, and I ask that you do not use the game in any attempts to try and support these.
